Sam –
The perfect all-rounder
I’ve spent many a night in this tent now with temperatures ranging from -8C to +15C and I can say every night has been comfortable and I’ve felt very protected in this tent. It’s been pitched on boggy ground, exposed ridges and summits in heavy rainfall and every time has kept me dry. I’ve had it in gusts of 35-40mph and it has always seemed pretty unfazed. The living space is snug but comfortable with a bit of organisation, room for a 65L bag in the little D-shaped access vestibule and enough room for boots and space to cook in the door side vestibule. In some of the colder conditions I’ve had some condensation build-up but I’ve realised I’ve been pitching the fly too close to the ground so that’s on me! I’ve easily managed to fit this tent in the bottom of a 38L bag next to my sleeping bag along with 3 days worth of gear.
